Lots to report this month!

Kate has been cast in PLAZAVILLE, a new media video art work based on Jean Luc Godard's ALPHAVILLE.  For more information, click here.

Kate was also accepted as a member of One on One Productions. 

And perhaps most excitingly, her FIVE KINDS OF SILENCE director, Tlaloc Rivas, was named one of NYTheatre.com's People of the Year for his outstanding achievements in direction.  The panel specifically singled out 5KOS as an example of his standout work.

October 2008

Kate has been cast in as Lawyer/Police Inspector/Psychiatrist (how 'bout that combination!) in FIVE KINDS OF SILENCE by Shelagh Stephenson.  The play, directed by Tlaloc Rivas, is receiving its U.S. premiere through Teatro Circulo in NYC.  For more information, visit www.teatrocirculo.com.

June 2008

Kate has been cast as Philippine in the world premiere of EAGLE SQUADRON GO! as part of the New York Fringe Festival.  For more information, check out www.eaglesquadrongo.com.

Kate is now represented by the Andreadis Agency.

May 2008

Kate is in New York City!  She participated in the UF Actor Showcase on May 5th, and it was a huge success!  The showcase took place at the New World Stages, in conjunction with the presentation of the Linda Wilson Lifetime Achievement Award, given to Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons.  As a result, Kate had the privilege of participating in a workshop with Ms. Parsons, and of speaking with her after the showcase. 

She is currently in interviews pursuing representation.   More news to come soon!

Kate is finishing up her graduate studies, and moving to New York City!

Kate is currently playing Miss Foxhill in the Hippodrome Theatre's production of Tennessee Williams' SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER.  You can read all about it by visiting the Hipp's website.

She is also gearing up to perform in the University of Florida's New York Showcase, which will take place May 5th at the New World Stages Theatre in NYC.
